Today is 12/12/12. The significance of this, numerically speaking, is great. So of course when our friend Avi Hartman said it was his birthday and that we should come over and celebrate with him, we could not say no. Ian made an absolutely delicious hot toddy out of sugar cane Dr. Pepper, cinnamon sticks, apple slices, and honey bourbon. It was so so delicious and the hit of the party. Here it is stewing on Avi's stove.
We also ate Eastside Pie. YUM.
There was this great vintage typewriter out on the table, so we typed each other love letters.
And did shots over........
Avi had a fire going in the back yard- so even though it was 22 degrees last night, there were about 15 of us huddled around the fire smoking and talking- until 4 in the morning. Again- another night with no sleep!!!
